About

Ben Rathbone is a representational painter working in the Classical Tradition. He is a graduate of the School of Representational Art in Chicago, Illinois. The School of Representational Art provides a four-year, highly integrated curriculum of training that replicates the Atelier method of art instruction modeled after the academic painting schools of 19th century Europe. Ben also studied at the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto, the Palette and Chisel Academy in Chicago, and the Art League School in Alexandria, Virginia. Ben has a Bachelors of Individualized Studies from George Mason University with a concentration in Classical studies. He lives with his wife in Chicago, Illinois.
